INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITIES

A cosmopolitan university, part of the globalised world, integrated into an academic and ecclesiastic network, active also at an international level – all of this is the Catholic University of Applied Sciences of North Rhine-Westphalia (katho). If specialist and executive staff are to be competent in dialogue with people from other cultures, then international experience must be a natural part of their studies. Bringing together one's own expertise with experiences and perspectives from other societies and knowledge cultures, reflecting on these and co-creating them – with this claim, the katho offers its teachers and researchers an international setting. Read more about this in our "Strategy Paper on Internationalisation" The katho collaborates on projects and programmes worldwide with over 60 partner universities. The common thematic fields are Social Work, Health Care and Theology. You want to know more? Have a look at our diverse activities and offers in international contexts.
