As a university of applied sciences, the Catholic University of Applied Sciences North Rhine-Westphalia (katho) is taking a look at the major social transformations at a congress in Cologne from September 26-28, 2023, not least to discuss options for social action and to reflect on the role of science and higher education in shaping social transformations.
During the three days of the congress, we want to explore the key topics of sustainability, democracy, social cohesion, intergenerational justice, demography and digitality from different perspectives in lectures, panels, and discussions together with you.
The congress days will be rounded off by a diverse evening program including a Rhine river cruise, a visit to the cathedral at night, and a closing concert by the JugendJazzOrchester NRW.
We cordially invite you to exchange ideas with us and look forward to welcoming you to our university in Cologne! Renowned experts will accompany us.
