    Founded in 1993, the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences has about 3,500 students (as of 02/2021) studying at six faculties.

  • Tomas Bata University, Zlín

    In 2001, the merger of older universities formed the public Tomas Bata University (TBU). Approximately 9,000 students (as of 02/2021) study at six faculties, including the Faculty of Humanities. As part of its internationalisation strategy, the TBU puts great emphasis on teaching in English as well as other foreign languages.

  • Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador

    The Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador is the oldest private university in the country. It was founded in 1946 and is run by the Jesuit order.   • Catholic University College of Ghana, Sunyani

    The Catholic University College of Ghana is a private university established in 2003 in Sunyani, central Ghana. A cooperation exists with the Faculty of Health and Allied Sciences (PHAS). The faculty is dedicated to the interdisciplinary treatment of health problems and trains highly qualified professionals who find their field of activity in health service and health education institutions, in the Ministry of Health as well as in the National Health Insurance Authority.

  • University for Development Studies, Tamale

    Founded in May 1992 by the government of Ghana, the University for Development Studies (UDS) is the first public university in the rural north of the country. Its central mission is to accelerate national development by combating poverty and underdevelopment. This concrete orientation towards social development and technological development in agriculture is reflected in the university’s range of subjects.

  • Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic University of Honduras

    Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic University of Honduras (UNICAH), also known as "la cato", is a church-run university founded in 1992. Approximately 20,000 students study (as of 02/2021) at twelve campuses that are spread across various cities. The main campus is located in the city of Tegucigalpa in central Honduras.

  • CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore

    The CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was founded in 1969 in Bangalore, the capital of the southern Indian state of Karnataka. The university, which has approximately 21,000 students, offers one Bachelor's degree programme and two Master's degree programmes in Sociology and Social Work at the Department of Sociology and Social Work.

  • Dharmaram College, Bangalore

    In 1957, the Dharmaram College – originally located in Kerala – was rebuilt in Bangalore. It is a college of the CMI Congregation (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate), one of the first religious orders of the Catholic Church in India. There are about 300 students studying at the faculties of Theology and Philosophy. The CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is also part of the college.

  • Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous), Kerala

    Founded in 1995, the Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous) is located within the southern Indian state of Kerala. With approximately 1,700 students, being enrolled in 20 study programmes in the fields of Computer Science, Communication Sciences, Economics and Social Work, the university combines higher education with practical development work. Through the networking efforts between the Marian College and non-governmental organisations, the katho gets access to valuable cooperation opportunities in the area of theory-based project work.

  • St. Albert's College (Autonomous) Ernakulam, Kochi

    The St. Albert's College (Autonomous) Ernakulam was founded in 1892 in the southern Indian port city of Kochi and is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam in Kerala – with approximately 3,800 students enrolled in 23 undergraduate and twelve postgraduate programmes. The university has nine different departments and seven research centres. The research focuses in particular on youth and female empowerment, but also on the empowerment of rural people.

    The University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE) is a public university that was founded in 1972. The university campus is located right in the centre of Lisbon. The four schools (Business School, School of Sociology and Public Policy, School of Social and Human Sciences, School of Technology and Architecture) have approximately 10,000 students. International students constitute about 20 percent of the total students (as of 02/2021).

    Founded in 1933, Monmouth University is a private university on the north coast of New Jersey, just an hour’s drive from New York.
