Gemeinsam schauen wir Filme mit Bezug zu Sozialer Arbeit, Kindheitspädagogik und Gesundheit – also Themen, die uns im Studium und darüber hinaus bewegen. Danach gibt es Raum für offene Diskussionen, Austausch und neue Perspektiven. Wenn Ihr Ideen für Filme und Anregungen darüber hinaus habt, meldet Euch gern!
Was Dich erwartet sind eine entspannte und informelle Atmosphäre, Summer Vibes, Popcorn und Getränke sowie anregende Diskussionen zum Film im Anschluss. Die Veranstaltungen sind natürlich kostenfrei.
Im Sommersemester 2026 sind folgende Termine geplant:
Dienstag, 23.06.2026, 17:45 Uhr
Im Juni schauen wir gemeinsam den Film „Niemals allein, immer zusammen“. Den Trailer zum Film findet Ihr hier. Der Film ist mit englischen Untertiteln versehen.
Außerdem werden mit dabei sein: Johanna Georgi, Regisseurin sowie Simin Jawabreh, eine*r der Protagonist*innen des Films.
Komm vorbei, bring Deine Kommiliton_innen mit und genieß einen Abend abseits von Vorlesungen und Prüfungen. Wir freuen uns auf Dich!
Die Veranstaltung wird barrierearm geplant.

KATHO MOVIE – New Film Series in Cologne!
Are you in the mood for a relaxed evening with great films, popcorn, and engaging conversations? Then come along to our new film series KATHO MOVIE in the cafeteria at katho NRW in Cologne!
Together, we will watch films related to Social Work, Childhood Education, and Health—topics that matter to us both in our studies and beyond. Afterwards, there will be space for open discussion, exchange, and new perspectives. If you have ideas for films or further suggestions, feel free to get in touch with us.
What awaits you is a relaxed and informal atmosphere with summer vibes, popcorn and drinks, as well as stimulating conversations afterwards. The events are, of course, free of charge.
In the summer semester 2026, the following dates are planned:

In June, we will watch the film „Niemals allein, immer zusammen“ together. You can find the trailer about the film here
The film will be shown with English subtitles.
