EDUCATION AS A CHILD'S RIGHT - International online Symposium

The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) has been ratified by most countries in the world. It establishes essential standards of living to protect children worldwide and emphasizes the urgency of their integrity and wellbeing. However, the Convention is far from being granted and respected everywhere.

On December 11, 2021, the Catholic University of Applied Sciences NRW (katho) invites for the second time to an international online symposium to present and discuss the perspectives of different countries on children's rights – especially the right to education. For it was not only the pandemic situation with distance learning or closed schools that showed that not all children are
granted the right to education and learning.
 

Costs and participation:
The participation in the symposium is free of charge. Participation in the symposium is possible for the entire period as well as for selected lectures.
